Welcome to the site dedicated to all three limited edition Mustang Indy Pace Cars! This site is designed to introduce you to the Registry and provide information and background on the 1964 1/2, 1979 and 1994 Pace Car edition Mustangs.

Who are we and what is the Registry about??
We're Mustang enthusiasts who happen to have a love for the unique Mustang Pace Car replicas offered by Ford over the 37 year history of the Mustang. This isn't a job for us, just a hobby. All the time and effort put into the Registry by the "staff" is voluntary, and all in the spirit of enjoying our cars.The Registry was formed in the early 90's by Mr. Bill Puck of Colorado to assist registered 1979 Mustang Pace Car owners in any aspect of concern they might have about their cars. This includes parts assistance, original equipment on your car and events updates. Bill is still leading the pack, so to speak, but the focus of the Registry has expanded somwhat recently. It now covers not only the 1979 Mustangs, but also the 1964 1/2 Indy Pace Car and 1994 Cobra Indy Pace Car! While the two new divisions are still ramping up, we will strive to provide as much information and help to the owners of these cars as possible. If you own either a 1994 or 1964 1/2 and have some ideas on what you would like to see, or would like to get involved in the Registry (the more the merrier!) please contact us! We at the Pace Car Registry are dedicated to helping you to enjoy your car, no matter if it's daily driven, stock, modified, a show car, or a street/strip machine. Hundreds of hours have been spent researching these cars, finding the most reliable vendors, and keeping up on the current prices of our rare and unique cars.
What are the benefits of joining the Registry?
As mentioned earlier we can provide assistance to pace car owners by:
- Providing lists of parts suppliers and vendors of Pace Car related exterior, interior and mechanical products;- Assisting with restoration advice, including original equipment on your car, available options and special considerations that must be taken into account during the restoration of these pieces of automotive history; - Offering the bi-yearly newsletter, Setting The Pace, to registered members for a minimal 15 dollars (US funds) per year (newsletter includes special technical advice, memorabilia prices, free membership advertising, lists of upcoming events, and notices of special offers available only to Registry members); and - Organizing different events and/or meetings across the country so that members can get together and meet each other in person, see other members cars, and generally get out and enjoy themselves!
What next??
Take some time and browse around the website. Check out the cars histories, look at some of the Registry members cars and take in some of the articles written by the Registry staff! Just get a general feel for the place. Then JOIN!!! There are lots of reasons to join the Registry, and you will benefit from the information on this site, and more. It only costs 10 dollars(US Funds) to register your car, and 4 dollars for each addition Mustang Pace Car that you or your immediate family own and wish to register. We encourage all owners of Mustang Indy Pace Cars to register their car(s). This will help keep a central tracking record of how many of the cars are still in the roads what condition they are in. By having this information it will help us better determine values and market conditions, so we can pass this information on to the membership. Please note that any and all information that you submit to the Registry is kept in the strictest of confidence!! Your personal information, or information on your cars will never be given out or sold to marketing groups, vendors, or even other registry members (unless you individually request us to for the purposes of finding other members or parts). We are not about selling parts or giving specific companies business... we are here for you, the pace car owners, and will do what we can to assist you and keep you informed on all aspects of these cars.
